Makkala Jagriti endeavours to create different learning opportunities for children, adults and communities from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. We believe it is critical to encourage and offer spaces for children from different socioeconomic sections to engage with each other for mutual learning and growth.   We have created spaces where children, parents, adults and the community as a whole can explore, experience & experiment in opportunities outside their reach. Our efforts are directed towards making such spaces self-sustaining social systems.   Makkala Jagriti collaborates, partners & networks with people from different walks of life, diverse organizations and Government institutions to achieve its vision of an inclusive and an integrated society.   Our activities at Makkala Jagriti include:   1. Learning Center : We set up community based learning centres where the environment offers quiet and focus. We provide books, computers, creativity workshops, games and toys, outdoor programs, civic awareness programmes and experiential workshops.
